Pooter Needs Your Loving Energy

Little King Pow Pow needs your love. The little bugger has lost 4 pounds, drinks a ton of water yet is dehydrated, skin is discolored, is unable to meow, (let me repeat that) is UNABLE TO MEOW, and doesn't want to sleep under the covers anymore.

Dr. Scarlet poked, proded and drew blood and urine from him today to look for what could be wrong. He is showing signs of kidney failure. My baby whom I saved 15years ago from an abusive household situation is sick like I've never seen him before. I'm sad to see him this way and a little scared that this is the beginning of the end.

Please send him your love and thoughts of chasing mice again.

Damn, my mom's back. Don't get me wrong, she loves me like non other but she also makes me act right and play nice. It was cool when her friends were taking care of me, I would get away with murder and they'd totally kiss my arse! Ah well, the trade off is I finally got to go outside! Wahooooo!

Under the covers

Last night, and almost every night, as I was winding down to snuggle deep under the covers Mr. Pooter Mow Mow pranced over to where my covers hit the bed and stuck his head under them tickling my face on the way with his long white whiskers. What he's after is to sleep under the covers with me holding them up enough so he doesn't suffocate. To do this I have to be lying on my side, prop the covers up with my right arm while petting him with my left. Pooter of course becomes a purring machine once in. The best part is when he lies down on his left side too, along my belly and puts a paw or two on my right arm. Last night I fell asleep with him in this position, awaking to him on top of the covers in a little black fuzzy ball. When he wakes, he say's "Mow Mow".
